The Top Split – Episode #005 – Bernie Wiemers

In this episode I was finally able to talk to the man behind RRtv, Bernie Wiemers.  Bernie has been on my list to have on the show since there was a list, so it was great to finally have him on the show.

Bernie and I spoke about what is involved in broadcast streaming iRacing.  All the tools of the trade and some of the thinking and work that goes on behind the scenes.  It’s a great starting point if you are thinking about doing some broadcasting or indeed just getting involved in your local iRacing community more broadly.

If you’d like to get in touch with Bernie or check out some of his fine work at RRtv you can check out his Facebook page or YouTube site using the links below:

MNL Season 7 Race 12 @ Sebring

A great way to end Season 7 of Monday Night Lights with a strong field taking on the challenging Sebring circuit.

Fantastic to see the series come down to the wire with Enzo Canta and Luke Whitten battling it out on track in attempt to outpoint the other both in the race and the championship itself.  Check out the RRtv coverage below who once again brought great support and exposure to the series.

Congratulations to all the drivers for an awesome season of racing.  The Monday Night Lights series is once again proving to be a great platform for the ANZ club members and beyond!

MNL Season 7 Race 8 @ Interlagos

Another great turn out for round 8 of the Monday Night Lights with the series heading to Brazil for the affectionately named Interlagos track.  A very popular track that brought out a great field and fantastic driving.  The racing was hot up front and throughout as the drivers looked to take advantage of an unusually cool track and made the most of the great layout.

Check out the race replay below, brought to you again by RRtv and follow the official standings on the Monday Night Lights section of this website.

MNL Season 7 Race 7 @ Donington Park

Round 7 of Monday Night lights was run at Donington Park on the National layout tonight.  A track configuration that has proven quite popular with drivers over the past couple of seasons in the Skip Barber category.  Another high Strength of Field saw a great standard of drivers line up for the race and the action on track was equally impressive.

The local Australia\New Zealand club drivers were well represented by the usual suspects and RRtv once again brought the action to the viewers at home.  So check out the race replay below and follow the official standings on the Monday Night Lights section of this website.

MNL Season 7 Race 6 @ Road America

Round 6 of Monday Night Lights saw the championship move to Road America and saw a great race.  It also saw the return of the RRtv coverage after the Christmas hiatus.  The drivers put on a fantastic display for the broadcast with a leading pack of 6 drivers running all sorts of lines side by side for almost the entire race and no less than 4 drivers leading laps during the race.

Fantastic again to see the MNL race draw out a top quality field for the top split with the Strength of Field once again in the top 3 for the week and providing a great platform for the local drivers making a tilt at the official championship.  This was despite the field missing a few of the more notable regulars, including returning series champion Enzo Canta and stalwart regular Kevin Henderson.

Without wanting to spoil the race, make sure you check out the broadcast replay below courtesy of RRtv that shows the tightest finish in MNL history in what was an amazing race to watch and call.  For full championship standings pop on over to Monday Night Lights section of this website.  But, for now, wrap your peepers over this fantastic race and come back next week for some more great MNL racing!
